Well folks, all those wacky leftist prognosticators and neoconservative hacks are apparently in agreement on one thing. Debka is reporting that General Casey, commander of US forces in Iraq, has been given orders to begin operations against Syria.
It's looks like we're in it for the even longer haul. Maybe we'll find those WMDs after all...

Milestone
I sit here this evening, busily preparing for the second day of my first official trial. Of course, it's not my case, and I'm merely second chair, but I did give the opening statement (must remember to breathe next time), and will be taking the defendant on direct examination tomorrow.
I guess all these months of bellyaching that I never get to try cases will have to come to an end. Now, it's time to bag the elephant, so to speak.
